Leading Careers Guidance Toolkit
The Leading Careers Guidance toolkit has been developed by the LEP Careers Strategy Group. It will help schools understand and embed the national expectations and statutory guidance on careers, including Gatsby Benchmarks, by signposting to fully funded local resources and support.
Leading Careers Guidance will support Senior Leaders and Careers Leaders in their approach to the challenges of reviewing whole school careers guidance by, planning to meet National Careers Strategy key actions, implementing National statutory guidance and evaluating the impact of high quality whole school careers guidance.
Use of the toolkit will also allow schools to support the York North Yorkshire & East Riding LEP aspiration of, ‘increasing employability by connecting business to education’; and to ‘build skills, attitudes and ambition to help people access jobs and progress in them’. You can access the toolkit here.
