Engaging people and driving change with Circular Economy23 October 2020
Sue Jefferson, from Circular Malton and Norton, presented a masterclass on how to change attitudes and behaviours towards circular economy.
She talked about her work with Circular Malton and how she has engaged the community and town in adopting circular economy principles. As part of this, she shared what worked, what proved challenging and what is the plan ahead.
Sue advised how to initiate broad community engagement in environmental change and how to unlock business managers’ mindsets to make environmental change a priority for their competitive advantage.
This masterclass series on Circular Economy is a collaboration between the University of York Management School and the York & North Yorkshire LEP and is part of Circular Yorkshire Month.
