Inspired People event – York, 27th September 2018

We have a huge amount to celebrate this year as we have made great progress in developing skills opportunities, within education and the workforce. Introduced by our LEP Chair, David. A. Kerfoot MBE DL, our Inspired People event will cover:

  • social inclusion activity, including connecting ex-offenders with businesses, helping them back into work,
  • the leaps forward we are making in careers education and what’s coming up next,
  • skills building for the workforce, around heightened issues such as mental health and biosecurity
  • plus valuable networking time.

The event takes place, 9am to 2pm, in York, 27th September. Book your ticket for this event here!

I would like to attend this event. As a mother of teenagers, a teacher of teenagers, and extremely interested in mental health in this age range I would like to benefit from what is in offer in this ‘Inspired Event’ day.

    Hi Nikki,

Thank you for your message. Our work is more about providing workplace education and opportunity for economic regeneration. Although we have a light focus on mental health as that’s important to people, that’s not our specific focus, nor the focus of this event, so we’re not sure you’ll find what you’re looking for at our event. Compass are an organisation that look more specifically at this issue in our area, they may be worth contacting. http://www.compass-uk.org/northyorkshirehealthandwellbeingproject/
