Local Business Welcomes the Popup Business Café to Boroughbridge

23 May 2017

Here’s why Hugh Finks the Boroughbridge Popup Business Advice Café on Thursday 23rd May is a Great Idea.

In 2016 Fink Foods opened its doors to Boroughbridge High Street and they’ve been busy ever since, including the recent addition of Sweet FINK just a few doors down the street.

Another first will be the How’s Business Popup Business Café coming to Boroughbridge offering free, impartial advice to business owners and startups on 23rd May from 9am to 1pm at the Best Western Crown Hotel.

You can pop-in and pop-out as you please, with experts on hand to answer your questions on topics such as tax, accountancy, finance, web design, social media, marketing and more.

Hugh Fink, Owner of local Fink Food and Vice President of the Boroughbridge and District Chamber of Trade welcomes the event to Boroughbridge’s vibrant small business community, He said:

‘We run a small specialist high street grocery. We are here from early in the morning until the evening. We have very few opportunities to leave the shop for any length of time to focus on business management so to be able to go to one place to talk about a range of issues is really helpful.

”We’re a town packed with small one or two person businesses and it’s a real challenge to find time to focus on things like marketing and finance which we all know are really important, but aren’t “core”. Having the chance to speak to experts in a single session, without having to travel out of the town, is fantastic.

”It’s great to see the LEP and their Growth Hub providing help to small towns like ours, and we enthusiastically welcome the Popup Business Cafe to Boroughbridge”.

The Popup Business café offers a friendly, informal, relaxed and non-salesy environment where experts will be on hand to answer your business and startup questions.

The event is organised by How’s Business, the growth hub for York, North Yorkshire and East Riding. It is free to attend and you can drop in anytime between 9am and 1pm.
