Have your say on transport across the North
Transport for the North (TfN) are holding a a series of public consultation events for their recently released 30-year vision for transformational investment in transport across the North of England. These events are a chance to find out more about the recommendations and what it means for you and your area and give your feedback which will help shape the Plan in its development.
These consultation events are open to everyone and are your chance to hear from Transport for the North representatives and ask any questions you might have.
There are two events being held in our area, both of which begin at 4pm. Why not go along and explain the challenges your business faces because of congestion on our major roads, be it getting around the A1237 York Ring Road, travelling to the Yorkshire coast on the A64, or a journey on the A1079 to Hull. It is important that we show the need for investment in our major road links to support business growth.
Further details of the York event at the National Railway Museum on 12 February are at http://transportforthenorth.com/calendar/stp-york/
Further details of the Scarborough event on 27 March are at http://transportforthenorth.com/calendar/stp-scarborough/
The event is open to everyone – just turn up on the day, although TfN do ask that you register your details via the event links above.
