WtY Personal Membership

On Yorkshire Day Welcome to Yorkshire launched their first Personal Membership scheme, aimed at people who have an emotional connection to Yorkshire and supporting the county. By being a personal member, Welcome to Yorkshire will plant a tree on the members behalf at a site in Nidderdale. The scheme aims to promote responsible tourism and advocate for a regional response to climate change. The tree planting initiative also helps to promote tourism in the region as members can go and visit the woodland where they have their “own little piece of Yorkshire”.
