After graduating from York St John University with a first class degree in Creative Writing and English Language, Kate knew her heart was sold on staying in York. Although her roots are back in the North East, she found an excuse not to return by joining the Local Enterprise Partnership’s team back in 2016 as an intern. This didn’t include copious amounts of tea making, but content writing and marketing for business support opportunities.
Since then, she’s dabbled in various roles within the LEP, including a Communications Assistant, account management and finally, this year, a Service Analyst. She’s stepping behind the scenes now, no longer business-facing, to help monitor the impact of our services and ensure continuous improvements are made.
Outside of the 9 to 5, you’ll probably find her in a pub, pint in hand, embracing the Yorkshire lifestyle.
